Tiffany Britton, nee Gore, started performing as a young whipper snapper, singing with her parents in the church choir in Kintbury, Berkshire, debuting with a solo in a Christmas concert at the age of 5. She was brought up by a loving family of performers, with her daddy being an organist, choirmaster and the renowned ‘Gordon on the Organ’ around these parts, and her mummy being a gorgeous ballet dancer, singer and all round fantastic Am Dram Gal! Since moving to Cambridge she has been involved with many different theatre groups, performing in the ‘King and I’ at the age of 8, and performing regularly at the Arts and Mumford Theatres in Cambridge as a teenager. At 12 she won the eastern region’s Choirgirl of the Year, appearing on Look East and About Anglia!!!! (Oh the fame!)
She was part of the renowned National Youth Music Theatre for five years. She sang in leading roles touring America, Canada and performing in New York’s Broadway, London’s West End and the Edinburgh Festival. She has even appeared on Blue Peter performing in The Ragged Child.
She then studied classical singing and drama for two years at the Conservatoire de Bordeaux in France. Whilst in France she joined several Soul and Rock bands, and eventually recorded her own album in French, with songs written for her by two songwriters based in Bordeaux, called ‘Tiffany Gore’. Being a lead singer in soul bands in France established Tiffany’s passion to continue her singing career as a soul vocalist when she returned to England. In her professional role as a singer she has worked as a featured performer for Replay Heaven, a producer in London, in which she records in studio as a session singer for such groups as Chicane featuring Tom Jones, Uniting Nations, Cabin Crew, Medcab, Estelle and others. She has had the opportunity to visit the Uniting Nations studios in Glasgow, recording lead vocals for new tracks.
She has had the great pleasure of recording backing vocals for the wonderful band Ezio, and the privilege of singing live in Trier on their German tour.
She has been part of the Eclectic Electric Collective The Young Punx! for the last five years, recording and performing lead and backing vocals on three albums. One of her biggest achievements so far has been performing as part of the band The Young Punx! at ‘The Nano-Mugen Festival’ in Yokohama, Japan to an audience of 12,000 people in 2006, 2007 and 2009, and ‘Summersonic Festival’ in Tokyo and Osaka in 2008, alongside such acts as Stereophonics, Hard-Fi, The Klaxons, Ben Folds, and the biggest Japanese bands, especially The Asian Kung-Fu Generation, (who are fantastic!!!). As well as their tours of Japan, Tiffany has performed with the Young Punx! in America, and extensively across Europe, including Germany, Switzerland, Italy and the UK, including the EA Games festival in Trafalgar Square and Glastonbury.
She is currently a member of several bands, The Soul Patrol, a ‘fabtastic’ 10 piece soul/disco/Motown band, Booga’s Electric Sauce, an amazingly soulful collective (including the sexy Booga and the ‘Animal’ Alex Reeves of Ezio and Dizzee Rascal fame), and of course the wonderful ‘The Pink Floyd Dimension’, enjoying massive success in arenas such as the O2, Wembley, Saffron Walden Town Hall, High Barn, etc….! They are ready to take on the world with their “most authentic sounding Pink Floyd tribute act in the UK”, and they’re damn good at it to be sure to be sure!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
