Electric and Acoustic Guitars, Lap Steel Guitar, Keyboards, Vocals

Mark is a Cambridge boy born and bred with a long love of the Floyd.

He studied classical guitar and piano in his youth culminating in an associateship at the London College of Music.

He attended Hills Road Sixth Form College (originally the Cambridgeshire High School for Boys), working in the very rooms that Syd and Roger began first to complain of teachers that disapproved of puddings not prepended with a meat starter.

He gained a degree in Electrical Engineering at the University of Bath and proceeded to lead a chequered career incorporating music performance and teaching, electronics wizardry, electrical installation and building work.

He was a long-time member of the locally (in)famous Angstrom being particularly noted for working (and relaxing) a lot in his underpants.
Since then he spent some time as an intrepid explorer of the South Pacific – most notably the highlands of Papua New Guinea where he was introduced to traditional tribal chant and adopted by David and Esi from the Napayufa clan of Bena in the Eastern Highlands.

His career is now as chequered as ever – being (alongside the perennial musical activities) a part time university lecturer, a web developer, an electrician and a gardener (not necessarily in that order).

Now known to some as “The Hippy”, his hair is long gone, he is no longer married, has no children and does not live in Surrey (with his ginger tom cat).
